Jet Wash

Jet wash for your patio or drive way is available now for smaller driveways, patios and paths. Using a electric jet wash for smaller jobs we do not charge extra for the use of the equipment so our normal charge of £25.00 an hour is the current charge. Chemicals are of course extra.

Shortly we will be upgrading our jet wash equipment to more powerful petrol pumps and larger surface cleaners. Jet washing will from then on become a quoted

Jet washing on its own is not always enough to get all the dirt, algae and stubborn marks on paving, patios, block paving and concrete removed. Sometimes it needs a little extra help to shift those difficult bits. 

So to help things alone we have a range of chemical cleaners to get as many marks and as much dirt moved as possible.

As with all chemicals some are stronger than others and of course some are more expensive than others.

We know very well at Aleys Gardening that not everyone is the same. Everyone has different ideas and principles. Some would never want to use chemicals and some would swear by them. So don't worry we will respect your views on this.

A jet wash can be just that, no chemical cleaners just a wash.

SPEAR & JACKSON PATIO & DRIVEWAY CLEANER

This is the most gentle of our cleaners. It can help to lift dirt & algae from block paving and patio slabs. It will have little effect on black spots but is far safer to use around grass and plants.

SWARFEGA PATIO & DRIVEWAY CLEANER

This is our preferred choice. A good general cleaner that will help to remove dirt, algae and help with the removal of black spots.

It is a little more harsh but not the worst. This needs to be kept away from grass and plants as damage can occur.

SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE

This is the most effective of the cleaners but also the most harsh. This is the cleaner that will clean your patio or driveway almost back to new. We will only use this when there is no plants or grass present and there is a drain for waste water to flow too.
